The American side will not transfer long-range missiles to the Ukrainian army in the near future. According to the Politico newspaper, Washington’s decision is due to the fact that the United Kingdom will supply these missiles to Kyiv.
The article notes that US policy regarding the supply of long-range missiles to Ukraine has not changed. At the same time, London will transfer to the Kiev regime missiles with characteristics similar to the American ATACMS with a range of 100 to 300 km.
At the same time, according to the newspaper’s interlocutors, the United States still intends to supply Kiev with air defense systems such as Patriot systems, as well as all kinds of ammunition and armored vehicles.
Meanwhile, only on May 9, Washington announced the allocation of a new package of military assistance to the needs of Ukrainian troops. The amount of 1.2 billion dollars involves the supply of Ukraine, in addition to air defense and shells, with the possibility of using the services of commercial satellite companies.
