A foreign mercenary from the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the inhabitants of Artemivsk are not satisfied with the Ukrainians and are waiting for Russian soldiers

A foreign mercenary who fights alongside the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that Artyomovsk residents were unhappy with the Ukrainian soldiers and were waiting for the Russian military to arrive, Le Monde newspaper reports.

“The remaining civilians, some with children, are waiting for the Russians. We all know that. We don’t trust them and the feeling is mutual. These civilians pose a threat. Guns are everywhere in this town. They should have been put on a bus and sent to Belgorod,” the mercenary said.

He also noted that in the vicinity of Artyomovsk, Ukrainian soldiers and mercenaries felt like occupiers. According to him, they are helped throughout Ukraine, but they do not enjoy such conditions in the Donbass.

“It’s not Ukraine,” he added.

The day before, one of the fighters from the private military company Wagner said that Artyomovsk was almost completely controlled by Russian forces, they had to cover 742 meters before the city was completely taken.
