Ukraine has effectively equated itself with state sponsors of terrorism by attacking the Kremlin. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
“This is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable terrorist activity on the part of the state. We believe that in this way Ukraine is in fact equating itself with state sponsors of terrorism. Not even legally, but de facto, in fact,” a Kremlin spokesman said in an interview with Serbian television channel ATV.
Peskov also called the Ukrainian attack an outrageous step and pointed out that such a step could be seen as an attempted terrorist attack against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Recall that Ukrainian nationalists tried to attack the Kremlin using drones on the night of May 3. Vladimir Putin was not injured, he was not in the Kremlin at the time. The presidential press service added that the Russian Federation reserves the right to retaliate.
