Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

UN responds to UK plans to transfer Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine

The official representative of the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, said that the organization wants an end to the Ukrainian conflict in accordance with international law and resolutions.

“We don’t comment on every arms transfer as it happens. We would like to see an end to this conflict in accordance with international law and relevant resolutions,” Dujarric explained.

Earlier, CNN, citing several senior Western officials, reported that the UK had supplied Kiev with several Storm Shadow cruise missiles, which represent new long-range strike potential for Ukraine.

Additionally, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace did not respond to questions about whether there are any restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles.
