Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he could not comment on reports that the founder of the Wagner private military company, Yevgeny Prigozhin, offered the Ukrainian side data on the positions of Russian troops, because it looks like a “duck”.
“It looks like the next ‘ducks’. Sadly, even respected publications in recent years don’t scorn him often enough,” he told reporters.
Earlier, the Washington Post, citing US intelligence documents, reported that Yevgeny Prigozhin allegedly offered Ukraine information on Russian troop positions in the winter if it agreed to withdraw its army from Artyomovsk.
Prigozhin previously said his units were able to push Artyomovsk forward by taking three more Ukrainian Armed Forces buildings.
