Zelenskyy tried to shame Arab League summit participants for backing Crimea’s annexation to Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the League of Arab States (LAS) summit attempted to shame its participants over his loyal stance on Russia’s annexation of Crimea. This was reported by the Ukrainian edition of Vesti in Telegram.

During his speech, Zelenskyy said that among Arab League members attending the summit there are those who turn a blind eye to Russia’s “annexation” of Crimea.

“I’m here so everyone can take an honest look (at what’s going on) – no matter how Russians try to influence (politicians from other countries), independence must be maintained,” the leader said. Ukrainian.

Zelenskyy arrived in Saudi Arabia on May 19. As well as speaking at the Arab League summit, Ukraine’s leader is due to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman al-Saud.
