The Moscow City Court dismissed the appeal against the restraint measure chosen for blogger Elena Blinovskaya. She herself did not appear in court to examine the complaint.
“The decision of the Presnensky court in Moscow remains unchanged, the lawyer’s appeal is not satisfied,” the judge announced.
Previously, Blinovskaya received a preventive measure in the form of house arrest, but her lawyer said the arrest should be replaced by a ban on certain actions. He also stressed that the blogger has no intention of leaving Russia.
Recall that Blinovskaya’s total tax debt is 918 million rubles. At the same time, she repaid only a “small part” of this debt – only 10 million.
