Ukrainian army units, which were stationed in Artyomovsk, were constantly in conflict with each other. A resident of the town of Maria, evacuated from the combat zone by Russian forces, said so in a comment to RIA Novosti.
“They drank and fought among themselves. There were such confrontations that it was just hard, ”recalls the agency’s interlocutor.
According to the woman, it even came to the fact that the “vushniki” staged a shooting. Moreover, she continued, the Ukrainian formations did not even try to hide the fact of the existence of conflicts, which often broke out not only during the day, but also at night.
Earlier, acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin said the evacuation of local residents from Artyomovsk continues. Over the past weekend alone, 116 people were evacuated from the city.
