The decision to supply Ukraine with F-16 fighters has not yet been made, but the Netherlands is seriously considering this possibility. This was stated by Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte.
There is no final decision yet, the Dutch Prime Minister told a press conference.
“But, if we start training pilots, it is quite obvious that we are also seriously considering the issue of the dispatch (F – 16),” Rutte said.
Earlier, the Danish Foreign Ministry announced that Ukraine would not receive the F-16 for free.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said Washington has not yet made a final decision on whether to transfer the F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine or whether their European Union allies will.
