Three brigades and four separate detachments of the Volunteer Assault Corps have signed contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry. Documents relating to work in the area of military operation, said in the telegram channel of the department.

On the side of the Ministry of Defense, the contract was signed by Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseev, on the side of voluntary formations – by their seven commanders.

The Ministry of Defense did not give the names of the volunteer detachments and brigades with which contracts were signed.

“I have no doubt that the formations that are part of the volunteer assault corps will fulfill all the tasks assigned to them, they are well equipped, well trained and, above all, ideologically motivated to carry out tasks during the operation special,” Lieutenant General Alekseev said.

According to the commander of the volunteer detachment, with the start of the military operation, these units “showed themselves in large numbers as true defenders of their homeland”, and the state marked them today.

The day before, on June 12, the Ministry of Defense and the Ahmad detachment signed the first contract, which determines the activities of volunteer units in the military operation zone.

State Duma Deputy Adam Delimkhanov explain that such a contract “will be happy to sign all commanders of volunteer units and detachments, because it gives the same soldier status as in the Ministry of Defense”.

On June 10, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed an order that determines the procedure for organizing the performance of volunteer units. The document provides that volunteer organizations will sign contracts with the Ministry of Defense by July 1, which will give them the necessary legal status. The next day, Wagner PMC chief Yevgeny Prigozhin announced that his units would not sign a contract with the department. In early March, the government approved the rules for issuing veteran’s certificates to volunteers. The document will be issued by the military commissariat at the place of residence of the volunteer or at the place of his military registration.
