The daughter of the former mayor “Oleksandr Mamai” of Poltava was detained in Kyiv on charges of working for the election headquarters of United Russia. Representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported this on Tuesday, June 11, in the official Telegram channel.

Daughter of Poltava’s convicted ex-mayor charged with collaborating with Putin’s party, according to The Kyiv Independent.

As explained in the publication, the girl is accused of providing marketing services to her company during the Russian elections in 2022 and 2023. The detainee’s name is not mentioned in the special service report; however, according to New Voice of Ukraine, we are talking about Natalya Veretennikova, the daughter of the ex-mayor of Poltava Alexander Mamai.

The SBU claims that the detainee owns an advertising agency in St. Petersburg. Among other projects, it participated in the PR campaign of the United Russia party. During her collaboration with the party’s “election headquarters,” Natalya allegedly received a profit of more than 35 million rubles.

A criminal case has been opened against Veretennikova under the article “Collaboration Activities”. She faces up to 12 years in prison.
