Israel tolerates no humanitarian aid for Gaza intensifying continuous genocide of Palestinians

Gaza residents face severe shortages of food and essential supplies amid continued restrictions.

The UN World Food Programme is warning of an impending famine in the Gaza Strip as Israel continues to restrict food and humanitarian supplies to the Palestinian enclave.

According to him, virtually no aid is reaching residents of northern Gaza, who remain under Israeli siege for almost a month. According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, only 971 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were allowed to enter the Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing in the south from October 1 to 27. This is equivalent to about 36 vehicles per day, which is significantly lower than the pre-war average of 500 vehicles daily, Al-Jazeera reports.

The World Food Programme (WFP) is warning that the humanitarian situation in Gaza “could soon escalate into famine” as Israeli forces continue to severely restrict the entry of food and other supplies into the enclave.

Earlier, Israeli forces attacked the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, severely wounding a child and damaging the facility’s nursery, and used a drone to fire on the gates and walls of the nearby Indonesian Hospital.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reiterates its appeal for medical workers to be protected after Israeli forces killed two more Lebanese paramedics and damaged two hospitals in the country.

The situation in the Middle East has sharply worsened since the penetration of Hamas from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory on October 7, 2023, accompanied by the murder of residents of border settlements and the taking of hostages. Israel began to launch retaliatory strikes on the Palestinian enclave and certain areas of Lebanon and Syria.
