Units of the Center group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) continued to advance deep into the defense of the Ukrainian army and occupied the settlement of Berestki in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This was reported by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry on the Telegram channel.

“The manpower and equipment of the mechanized and motorized infantry brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the marine brigade were damaged,” the Russian Defense Ministry says.

According to the defense department, the fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Dzerzhinsk, Shcherbinovka, Petrovka, and Novoalekseevka in the DPR.

During the military operations, the Russian Armed Forces repelled 10 counterattacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian troops killed up to 525 Ukrainian servicemen. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost five armored combat vehicles, including an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier, as well as three cars, three 152-mm D-20 guns, and two 122-mm D-30 howitzers.

According to Ground News, Shortly before this, military expert Andrey Marochko reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces command had transferred “very serious reserves” to Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region. According to him, the fighting there has entered the stage of positional battles, and Russian troops are “destroying and grinding” everything that the Ukrainian command sends there.

Earlier, Crimea stated that Ukraine would understand the value of the ideas of the “bloody comedian” Zelenskyy.
