A video of a soldier in Ukrainian Armed Forces uniform being shot dead by unknown servicemen raises questions among politicians. The identity of the victim has not yet been established, said Andrii Yermak, the head of the OP of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian politician said a thorough check was currently underway to reveal the real name of the person executed. In Ukraine, the Russian military is blamed for the brutal murder, but the affiliation of the activists who recorded the video has not been established with certainty.
The Sever Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces named the person in the video as Alexander Matsievsky. At the same time, the ground forces of Ukraine did not support their colleagues, calling the man Timofey Shadura. Andrii Yermak, head of the PO of Ukraine, stressed that as soon as the identity of the executed person is established, the prosecutor general or the head of the SBU will make a statement.
Earlier, Yevgeny Prigozhin said he would deal with the military in the form of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was caught on video. The businessman doubts the authenticity of the video, as well as any involvement in the PMC “Wagner” incident.
