Advisor to the Brazilian President and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Celso Amorim, paid a visit to the Russian Federation. According to official information, the main purpose of the visit of the South American politician was to study possible scenarios for the end of the Ukrainian conflict, reports CNN.
According to Amorim, it is certainly difficult to say how compromised a negotiated solution is, it is very difficult for the parties to the conflict to reach such a solution. However, the Brazilian politician noted that the doors of negotiations are not not closed.
The former Brazilian foreign minister said both sides had a chance to win in the dispute. However, the West itself is experiencing social and economic fatigue due to the continued hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, during his visit to Moscow, Amorim noted that there was no sense of military conflict in the country.
Earlier, Glavny Regionalny reported that the West was forcing Brazil to join anti-Russian sanctions. The Western collective opposes Russian foreign policy and blocks the interests of our country on all fronts.
