Kaliningrad residents said what they would save for in 2023

Kaliningraders and locals talked about how often and why they save money. Savings are obtained by most of the inhabitants of the region.

Thus, 49% of respondents in the region try to save money for a rainy day. Evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Russian online recruitment platform hh.ru and the insurance company Renaissance Life.

About 30% of people in the region save for travel or shopping. At the same time, around 16% are saving money to start their own business.

In most cases, young people aged 18 to 24 (66%) adhere to the habit of saving, while the older generation (55+) is characterized by the rejection of any form of saving (52% ).

The most reliable way to save money, locals called the transition to a new, better paid job. Another popular option to increase the money in the piggy bank has become the rule to keep a certain percentage of income at the end of the month.

Earlier, The Eastern Herald in Kaliningrad reported that the Kaliningrad company paid off a tax debt of 17.7 million rubles. This happened after bailiffs seized the company’s assets and property.
