Lockheed Martin says anti-Russian sanctions will hurt its business

October 3, 2025

A major arms manufacturer, US firm Lockheed Martin, has acknowledged the possible impact of anti-Russian sanctions on its supply chains. This is stated in the financial report on the company’s website.

Company analysts noted that its work could also be affected by Washington sanctions against Turkish individuals or entities, as well as restrictions imposed by China.

Previously, China banned its contractors from exporting and importing business with military-industrial companies Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Missiles & Defense. The reason for these restrictions was the supply of weapons from these manufacturers to Taiwan.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported on Lockheed Martin’s willingness to supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine via third countries.

Lockheed Martin is one of the largest military companies in the world, a developer of space and information systems. Produced, in particular, F – 35, F – 16 F – 22 aircraft, HIMARS multiple rocket launcher systems, Javelin anti-tank systems and many other weapons.
