The Ministry of Digital Transformation has denied reports of plans to send electronic subpoenas in some regions through state services.
“The Ministry of Digital Transformation does not confirm media reports about plans in some regions to send electronic subpoenas through state services,” the department’s Telegram channel said.
The ministry also clarified that citizens subject to military service can receive a summons in person from an employee of the Military Registration and Enlistment Office or by registered mail with notification sent by Russian Post.
In order to send agendas through the “Gosuslugi” in electronic form, it is necessary to adopt a separate regulatory act.
The day before, it was reported that in St. Petersburg the distribution of electronic subpoenas began in test mode as part of the spring project.
