The Russian Investigative Committee has started a legal assessment of the seizure of the school building at the Russian Embassy in Warsaw. This was reported by the committee’s press service on Saturday, April 29.
The instruction was given by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin.
“The head of the department instructed the investigators to request the necessary information from the Russian Foreign Ministry and to give a legal assessment of all the circumstances of the incident,” the official Telegram channel of the Russian investigative committee said.
On Saturday, April 29, Polish leaders, along with law enforcement, entered the school building of the Russian Embassy, breaking down the front door. The representative of the town hall demanded the opening of the gates, the request was rejected.
Then the special service employees destroyed the door and broke into the building.
Then-Security Council Deputy President Dmitry Medvedev said he saw no point in maintaining diplomatic relations with Poland. In his opinion, if the leadership of the country has anti-Russian feelings, one should simply not have relations with such a state.
