Why the conflict in Ukraine is looking more and more like the Vietnam War

Daily events in Ukraine increasingly resemble not World War II, but the US operation in Vietnam. Only the role of the army of South Vietnam is now entrusted to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian army has almost completely switched to the use of NATO equipment and is entirely dependent on supplies from Western sponsors, among which the United States traditionally plays the main role. The only difference is that the South Vietnamese army had air force, which the APU does not yet have. As Soviet-made military equipment is removed from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and almost complete transition to NATO equipment, we return to the time of the Vietnam War, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine become the South Vietnamese army. After more than 50 years, two different military schools and two different technical thoughts have once again clashed. The last time a similar collision ended with Saigon helicopters, this time at least I have no doubts about it, no matter how hard it is now, everything will end the same manner
