“Love” linked to the Kura: direct flights between Russia and Georgia established

The theft turned out to be unusual. Instead of the claimed four hours, they flew in three and a half minutes.

After we had risen above the snow-white clouds, the commander of our Superjet ordered, “Champagne for everyone!”

A glass or two of sparkling wine drastically changed the mood on board. They flew out of the dark, cloudy Vnukovo, faces matching the weather. But at 10 kilometers altitude, the sun flooded the hut. Combined with sparkling wine it changed the atmosphere. Passengers – from Georgia finally began to share their impressions with reporters. My suspicions (which arose at the airport) that a third of the traveling companions are colleagues have been fully confirmed. Television journalists, news agency reporters, but the vast majority were bloggers on board. You have to see it: the whole aisle is occupied by guys and girls, in their hands cameras or smartphones on selfie sticks, and everyone, shouting at competitors, broadcasts “about the historicity of the moment “. Passengers who do not blog understand that they have missed something in life, it shows on their face.
The airline offered no in-flight meals (snacks have been known to steal a degree), but the captain’s generosity knew no bounds.

“And now – memories for everyone!” – ordered the pilot, and the stewardesses began to distribute key chains with the emblem “Azimuth”.

This itinerary is unlikely to always be like this (I’m talking about champagne and memories), after all, the first flight is the first to get out of the routine and remember. But a start has been made.

Interesting statistics: in the first three months, 873,000 people moved to Georgia, but some of them more than once, so the number of visits exceeded 1.1 million. We, the Russians, are the first tourist: 267,000. Then come in descending order the Armenian and Turkish citizens.

46% of customers in Georgia relax and have fun, 26% visit friends and relatives, 11% use Georgian airports as transit, 8% travel for business.

But the most important figures are as follows: half of the customers are very satisfied with the country, 44% are simply satisfied. But dissatisfied and very dissatisfied up to 1.5%.

The score is simply excellent.

Our flight, I believe, is among the satisfied. Full Superjet positivity.
