Britain imposes sanctions on 86 Russian institutions, individuals

Moscow/London: Britain has announced sanctions on 86 institutions and individuals related to Russia’s energy, metals, defense transport and finance sectors. Britain’s Foreign Office said in a statement released on Friday that new sanctions have been announced targeting Russian business institutions and individuals. The business entities and individuals targeted by the sanctions are related to the energy, metals, defense and finance sectors and are aimed at creating revenue pressure on the Putin administration.
