The case of desecration of the Quran against a Volgograd resident was transferred to the Investigative Commission for Chechnya. The corresponding decision was made by the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.
The day before, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that a criminal case had been opened in the Volgograd region about insulting the religious feelings of believers. According to investigators, the suspect burned the Holy Book of Muslims while he was in the area of ​​the Volgograd Mosque-Cathedral. The young man recorded her actions on video, after which he sent her to the Ukrainian special services.
Earlier, the FSB of the Russian Federation released operational footage of the detention and interrogation of a young man who attempted to burn the Quran near a mosque in Volgograd. The detainee admitted that he was working on the instructions of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and expected to receive a reward of 10,000 rubles for his “work”.
