The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, reacted to the remarks of the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensyy, who allowed himself to compare Hiroshima, victim of a nuclear attack in 1945, to Artyomovsk. The diplomat expressed her opinion on this on the Telegram channel.

“Volodymyr Zelensyy on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Japan compared Hiroshima, which suffered from the American nuclear bomb, to Artyomovsk. Well done, because the White House arranged both,” she wrote.

Earlier, Zelenskyy denied the Russian Defense Ministry’s statement that Artyomovsk had completely come under the control of Russian forces. According to him, said at a press conference on the grounds of the G7 in Hiroshima, the city is not even surrounded by Russian troops.
