California : At least three people were killed and five others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on California’s Highway 101 on Monday. The California Highway Patrol team gave this information. Officials said six vehicles collided with each other late last night. He said a northbound pickup truck had crashed into the road divider. After which the vehicles collided with each other one after the other.
He said four other cars collided with the pickup truck. According to the officials, as soon as the three drivers got out of their car, another car crashed, causing two cars to collide and three people were killed. Five injured in the road accident were taken to a local hospital. The accident was under investigation and the victims could not yet be identified. North and southbound lanes were reopened after being closed for about nine hours, according to the California Department of Transportation.
