US ambassadors have been summoned to the Foreign Office to protest statements by US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan regarding strikes against Russia.

The department explained that Sullivan actually approved of the Kyiv regime’s attacks on Russian territory, including Crimea and the Belgorod region.

“Assurances given by US officials that the United States does not encourage such attacks on Russia are hypocritical and false, given the direct physical evidence of the use of weapons and equipment supplied for the purposes Ukrainian Armed Forces by the Pentagon,” the Russian said. the foreign ministry said in a statement.

The ministry also stressed that the aggression against Russia will be resolutely repelled.

Jake Sullivan said earlier that Washington does not allow Ukraine to use Western weapons to strike Russian territory, but Crimea is not considering it.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov in turn stressed that Crimea is part of Russia and that US threats about strikes are irresponsible.
