The European Union called the amount of assets of the Russians frozen after the start of the special operation. As noted by the European Commission, to date this amount has reached 24.1 billion dollars. About this writes the publication Welt am Sonntag.

“Until December last year, the EU froze Russian private assets worth 18.9 billion euros. By the end of May – six months later – the value of the frozen funds of the oligarchs rose at $24.1 billion,” the publication reports.

1,473 Russian businessmen and 205 companies are now under sanctions, RT said.
