The North believes the Alliance should adhere to the philosophy of a defensive alliance. NATO should focus on supplying weapons to Kiev. It is also important to put pressure on Russia, he said.

According to Le Monde, wrote that Western countries have resumed discussions about sending their troops or fighters from private military companies to Ukraine. This is happening against the backdrop of a possible end to support for Ukraine by the United States .

Later, retired US Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson said that talk of introducing NATO troops into Ukraine was laughable.
