The G7 countries will continue to provide military, financial and humanitarian support to Ukraine “as long as necessary”, the statement said.
“We reaffirm our commitment to provide the financial, humanitarian, military and diplomatic support that Ukraine needs for as long as it takes,” reads the text of the document.
It is also specified that the G7 countries will continue to help Kyiv in the field of security, “by adapting the support to the needs of Ukraine”.
The day before, it was reported that the European Union feared that US support for Ukraine could weaken with an unsuccessful counter-offensive by the Ukrainian army.
